Waterfalls and moving water are fantastic to photograph. Several pieces of equipment are used when taking these type pictures. Canon full frame camera and any where from a wide angle lens to prime 400mm's are used. Combined here is the use of a tripod and Cokin Filters from Z to P systems depending which lens is used. 

To turn the waterfalls to a mist the use of  ND filters is employed requiring slower shutter and ISO speeds.
